I once fell asleep on the beach in San Diego. It was on the Navy base, so it wasn’t open to the public and I was the only one there. It was humid and warm and I was reading a book. Anyway, it was perfect and I just fell asleep on my towel.
I woke up to dolphins playing in the ocean and the sun kissing my neck. It was, genuinely, one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever experienced.

Sleepin’ in the sand.

You have no idea what I’d give to just kiss you. Just once. Or to touch you. Not sexually. Perhaps passionately or intensely, but not sexually. I would touch your neck. The warm underside, tanned and even, all for a sliver of pale, revealed, freckled skin… falling away from your hair line like the ocean falls away from the sand. You have a beautiful neck. You have a beautiful soul. You are a beautiful man.
