I once fell asleep on the beach in San Diego. It was on the Navy base, so it wasn’t open to the public and I was the only one there. It was humid and warm and I was reading a book. Anyway, it was perfect and I just fell asleep on my towel. I woke up to dolphins playing in the ocean and the sun kissing my neck. It was, genuinely, one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever experienced.
