.575 million people die each year from water-related diseases. The water and sanitation crisis claims more lives through disease than any war claims through guns. One in eight people don’t have safe water; that is 884 million people. An American taking a five-minute shower uses more water than a typical person in a developing country slum uses in a whole day.
The goal of this specific campaign is to raise $500 and, so far, $220 has been raised. If 280 more people to donate a single dollar- one single dollar- the goal will be gracefully achieved.
If you donate one dollar, you can give TWENTY children the opportunity to drink clean water for the REST of their life.
Chances are you have a dollar in your pocket, under your car seats, in your couch or under your bed.
This is an opportunity. Change someones life.
Pass it on.
